As Loïs himself says, the best things happen when they are not planned, and this can be felt in every frame.

“Over the past two weeks, the locals of Porto have embraced me into their friend group, A.K.A The Elementos. A group of mixed ages, origins and stories. They have shown me what true friendship is, and I was able to be a part of it when I was in Porto. We went out almost every day, without a plan, but we took the camera’s with us just in case. Because the best things happen when they aren’t planned, and I think that shows. I noticed that street skateboarding is hardly filmed here, which made the locals extra hyped for it. Everyone has pushed it over their limits, and gave all their energy. I can’t wait to come back to Porto and experience more of this, that is why this skate part starts with a Dutch song called “Kom terug”, which means “Come back”. Thanks everyone, you guys are special!” – Loïs Donkers
